The campsite is open all year round.

The reception is in the service building.

Visa and Mastercard are accepted as methods of payment.

The service area includes reception, tv- and living room, high quality w.c.- and shower rooms, kithcen and washroom with hot and cold water.

There is a coin machine for the shower, washing machine and tumble drier.

In the centre of Straumen (ca. 60 m form the reception) there is:

• Salmon fishing / sale of fishing licences
• Marked trails
• Post office/newsagents
• Food store/petrol
• Chemists
• Hairdressers

There are several long distance coaches a day between Fauske, Bodø, and Narvik, which correspond with the trains from Fauske
and Bodø, and also the air flights.

The camp area at Strømhaug Camping has room for 40 motorhomes,caravans, and tents.
Most of the places have power points. The area is flat and hard, an advantage in rainy weather.
In the camp area you will find:

• Open fire/barbeque areas
• A grill house
• Play area for the children.

There are 6 high quality modern rental cabins with room for 6 people in 2 bedrooms and the living room. The cabins have a bathroom/toilet, and a complete kitchen with a fridge freezer, cooker, and a microwave oven. These cabins also have colour tv. Bedclothes may be rented.
There are also 11 other cabins with room for 2 - 5 people.
All these cabins have a fridge and cooker, but no plumbing.
​Kitchen equipment, cutlery, and other utensils may be borrowed at the reception at no cost. Bedclothes may be rented.
